PESHAWAR: Two riders’ squad members of Nasir Bagh police station were shot and injured on Monday. Senior Superintendent Police (Operations) Dr Najeebur Rehman said Fazad Khan and Pervez Khan were rushed to Khyber Teaching Hospital after being shot at by unidentified men on Nasir Bagh Road. He added a number of suspects were arrested from the area for interrogation following the incident, saying Kalashnikovs, pistols and ammunition were also recovered. Meanwhile, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa IGP Nasir Durrani vowed to bring the assailants to justice while speaking at a distribution ceremony for officers and constables from Torghar district.
