Speaking outside the National Assembly, Rasheed questioned the government’s decision to implement Article 245 of the constitution in Islamabad at a time when political rivals are planning anti-government protests. “What is the government trying to prove by inviting the army,” he said.
He also criticised the government for not negotiating with PAT chief Tahirul Qadri just because his party has no seat in the parliament. “Being in the National Assembly means nothing; Qadri is a strong political force and has a big number of supporters,” he said.

Saad invites Imran to talks
Railway minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, while speaking to the media outside the parliament, asked PTI head Imran Khan to come to the negotiation table and discuss his grievances with the government.
“The government is trying to address Imran’s concerns through dialogue and other political parties are playing their roles,” he said.
The minister criticised Imran for always making demands but never explaining the legal method to fulfill those demands. “Recounting and ordering re-polling is the job of election tribunals and they are working on all the complaints,” he said.
Referring to a PTI candidate who lost his provincial seat in Karachi on allegation of rigging, Rafique asked if PML-N should accuse PTI of poll rigging in the port city.
He requested Imran to delay his march if not cancel it and help the government address the problems of the internally displaced persons instead. “The country is at war and we need to win this fight against terrorism; we need to take care of our displaced brothers,” he said.

@Nida Alvi:
We can bemoan the "Foreign Rogue Element" all we want. What to say about the Rogue Pakistanis in our own land of pure?
Sheikh Rasheed is only a loud mouth, not to be taken seriously. He has ran away from his promises many times in the past yet this man shows audacity to appear in the media. However, it seems that a rogue element is trying to unite all the political orphans http://www.naibaat.com.pk/ePaper/islamabad/07-08-2014/details.aspx?id=p1_02.jpg The rogue element is on vacation from the foreign government to create chaos in Pakistan to create another Iraq & Syria-like situation here.
Zero plus zero equals to ZERO. That's the fate of these losers no matter what they say.
Shaikh Rasheed and Tahir ul Qadri are basically sikandars of politics(Talking about insane Sikandar who held his family hostage on gun point on a street of Islamabad & created drama for hours and media acted irresponsibly and give him undue coverage).
Same is the problem with these characters,media is giving them undue coverage & airtime,if media starts acting responsibly then these type of characters will naturally vanish from the scene as there will be no audience to watch their drama.
...we need to take care of our displaced brothers... Hello, your Government has banned the entrance of IDPs in Punjab, come on!!!!!
It cant get funnier.PTI man disqualified for rigging in Karachi. Couldn't stop laughing cz i myself saw another party's men casting votes against 3 bagful of CNICs
Qadri , Imran both have almost equal street power and public support, no one will accept other's supremacy.
I do not know why the media gives so much importance to this maniac. This man should be put behind the bars like Benazir Bhutto did. She really gave her the treatment that he deserved.Sheikh Rashid, Shujaat and Pervaiz just want another military rule so that they can support the same and enjoy as they did during Musharraf period.
On 15th August, PTI Trolls should send special felicitation messages to Tully who alone would be responsible for the political obituary of IK.
