@Naan Siddiqi:
And I can feel your pain!
once again we are waiting in Saudi Arabia ..to welcome Nawaz Shareef...
This is ridiculous! why do people of Pakistan do not understand of grave consequences of this "inquilab" or "Tsunami"..... question is that do we want yet another dictator ruling for another 10 years? Shareef might act like Monarch but would be ousted in another couple of years atleast. Democratic governments end but dictators stay on.
Imran is running like a headless chicken bored out of his life. If he really wanted electoral reform then should have asked for them before elections. Its like you agreed upon an umpire before the match and start crying after losing. For a minute let us assume that his so call Tsunami will come then question 1 is how? Question 2 is if it is through armies interference as Nawaz Shareef is not going to resign then is there enough time for electoral reforms before new elections. Question 3 is if an army general comes in for a couple of years to bring electoral reforms and that is his suggestion, then let me remind Tsunami sahab history that no general ever stayed for a few years, that is how they come and then they stay for 9/10 years when they are thrown out or in some circumstances killed in an air crash.
Dear nation, Please do not follow anyone blindly and think twice please I am not saying Shareefs are right but the route these Qadris and Khans have adopted is no inquilab or Tsunami. When Tsunami came, innocent civilians died and when revolution came, a few more civilians died.
@Nudrat:
I feel your pain.
@Sami:
The fact is that people have given them their vote, and now they should be allowed to show their governance for the next 5 years and if they do not do what they had said they will, then you can vote them out the next time. Cannot kick them out after just one year because of sore loser. The party that benefited the most from the terrorists' attacks was PTI and for this party to play victim role is pretty outrageous!
Wrong thing at the wrong time. All parties should boycott this gimmickery.
@Adnan Siddiqi being a burger is, to me, better than being slave of a royal family!
What bus does s raiways and finance minister have in a security meeting? Or maybe these two are the only "competent" enough leaders available to this govt. Just goes to show how pathetic the govt is.
Nations prosper and can alleviate poverty only when appropriate economic institutions are in place. Nations are likely to develop right institutions when to have a democratic political system with a widespread sincere electorate system, competition for political office, and openness to elected leader. There has to be strong connection between the electorate and state economic institutions. Pakistan political parties reject local government simply to bring sole benefit for the political parties. Citizens participation are pushed back. Intimate connection between the electorate and right economic connection fail therefore Nation Fail to Prosper.
The thing that is working for "incompetent" and "corrupt" rulers is that army has to have a very poor judgment to support any take over by the narcissists of PTI. The leader of PTI, as recently as in the last interview with Talat implied that the terrorists would not bomb his "dharna" because they will not kill people who are actually popular. What the heck he meant by that, does not that imply that he is saying that they kill christians, shias etc because they are not popular so that that makes it alright to kill them as long as they do not kill people belonging to his cult? This supposed leader of a narcissistic party has a view of the world that is so concrete that it makes me feel suffocated to even listen to him. Only god knows how supposedly educated middle class of this country is considered as his support group, rather than his main opposition. It just reflects very poorly on our educational system, that has created rote learners rather than brains that can think critically.
This is not cricket wherein one takes an extreme position of winning at all cost and coming good on it as well. This is politics and there is no such thing as an extreme position. NS led a Long March against PPP in 2009 but made it abundantly clear that it was for the restoration of the judiciary and the march was not aimed at collapse of PPP government.
IK alone is responsible for the quandary he finds himself in now.
Nice Move by PMLN pricking the balloon of PTI & PAT Things are getting more interesting..
No then Inquilabi Trolls, this is politics yet again which has put IK in a deep deep fix. If he attends this meeting as Parliamentary Head of PTI, he will be decried as being part of "Noora Kushti," If he and his CM chooses to stay away, the government and media will have a field day and he be labeled as an anarchist who is embarking on an expedition just to feed his own ego.
Just stick to eating burgers and endless hours in consternation on facebook linking IK's official page. Understanding politics was never your fortitude nor it will be the suite of your Chairman.
What "National Security"? Terrorism is annihilated by the Army... despite your nagging mr PM. U.S., India or Afgh has no war on the cards. May be you think Martians like Space Aliens are going to attack us? No no no! You got it all wrong.
A national security meeting now??? Is the azaadi march more dangerous than operation zarbe azb? Why didn't you held a meeting at that time? Fool!!!
his tickets and visa is ready and you'll see he will be the first one to flee.
No need to discuss anything. Just pack your bags. Your family bags. Go to Saudia.
PMLn does wrong job at wrong time, we need electricty they made jangle bus, we need end of family politics, they are granting ministries to their family members, we need independent institutions, they uses them for their political motives, now we need political conference they call security conference.
That's it now general will have to talk to inqilabis in person.catch me if you can!! End of inqilab back to old salary.
