BAHAWALPUR: Punjab Police Inspector General Mushtaq Ahmed Sukhera on Tuesday directed police officials to crack down on bootleggers and drug dealers in the city.

He directed the officials to show no tolerance to them and register cases against anyone peddling drugs and moonshine. The direction came after a number of people died in Rahim Yar Khan and other cities after consuming moonshine. The government had taken notice of it and sought a report in a week.
