Raheel Sharif leaves for Australia on 4-day official visit

ISPR says COAS will also meet senior defence and military leadership of Australia during his visit

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has left for Australia on a four-day official visit.

The army chief is going to Australia on special invitation of Australian Chief of Defence Force, the statement stated.

The press release added that the COAS will also meet senior defence and military leadership of Australia.

Sharif will co-chair the security and defence roundtable discussions being held between the two countries as well, the statement said.

@Alladitta: Where do you reckon Pakistan should source its uranium requirements from?Certainly not from the Himalayas. The military has not passed on this responsibility to the civilian authorities.
