Crime roundup: Three killed in separate incidents

An unemployed man attempted to commit suicide with a gun and is in critical condition at a local hospital.

WAH CANTT:


Two men and a woman were killed in separate incidents in Wah Cantt during the last 24 hours. In the first incident, a woman was killed after being hit by a reckless motorcyclist on GT Road near Wah.


The deceased was crossing the road when one-wheeling youngsters hit her. She was taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.


Meanwhile, an unemployed man attempted to commit suicide with a gun and is in critical condition at a local hospital. The local police said Ishtiaq Ahmed was in distress for the last few months due to unemployment.


He shot himself in chest at his house. He was taken to POF Hospital, Wah, where the doctors were still trying to save his life when this report was filed.


Moreover, a 24-year-old man was killed by unidentified assailants. The incident came to light when a passerby spotted a body lying in a deserted area and informed the local police who shifted it to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital.


The deceased has been identified as Ameer from the Asifabad area of Wah.
