Eid package: Rations sent for Waziristan IDPs

Over 220 tonnes of ration dispatched from Race Course Ground for the IDPs.

RAWALPINDI: A special Eid Package was dispatched for the IDPs of North Waziristan Agency by Rawalpindi Corps today. More than 32 truckloads of over 220 tonnes of ration that include flour, rice, sugar, lentils, cooking oil, dry milk and tea, were dispatched from Race Course Ground for the IDPs of North Waziristan Agency. The supplies were voluntarily deposited by the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi at collection points established by the Pakistan Army.
