Security arrangements: Acting Sindh IG visits shopping centres

Acting Sindh IGP visited various shopping centres in the metropolis on Monday to review security arrangements.

KARACHI: Acting Sindh IGP Ghulam Haider Jamali visited various shopping centres in the metropolis on Monday to review security arrangements. During his visit to the shopping centres in Clifton, Defence, Boat Basin, Zaibunnisa Street, Sakhi Hasan and Hyderi, he reviewed the overall security measures being taken under the contingency plan. He also visited police reporting centres set up in the markets. Additional IGP Ghulam Qadir Thebo, zonal DIGs, district SSPs and other senior police officials accompanied him. The IGP directed that police officials should be deployed at Madadgar-15 helpline centres with mobile vans to ensure minimum response time on any complaints from the citizens.
