In broad daylight: Robbers strike house

The police registered a case against the robbers but no arrests or recoveries had been made

GUJAR KHAN:


A gang of armed robbers broke into a house in broad daylight in Gujar Khan and took away cash and valuables at gunpoint.


Muhammad Aslam lodged a report with the local police that masked robbers broke into his house in Dhoke Chaudhrian by climbing the boundary wall and held him and his family members hostage.


They ransacked the house and took away cash, jewellery, mobile phones and other valuables worth Rs400,000. The police registered a case against the robbers but no arrests or recoveries had been made till the filing of this report.


On Wednesday, a trader’s house was also looted in the same area.
