Notwithstanding, other fake products of almost every item available in the country , our agriculture sector is suffering unimagineable losses, due to rampant supply of fake, substandard & underweight fertilizers, seeds & pesticides to the farmers. At international level, the situation is no better. Since the early 90s, according to Interpol, commercial losses around the world due to counterfeiting were estimated at more than $5 billion. Today, they are closer to $500 billion. In this regard, through the the courtesy of The Express Tribune, I being a consultant of an anti-counterfeiting, anti-piracy and brand protection organization, offer to help anyone interested in combating the menace of fake products.
