KARACHI: The government should halt all CNG stations closure during Ramazan for the convenience of the citizens, said Karachi Transport Action Committee president Mohammad Ashraf on Thursday. In a statement issued on Sunday, Ashraf said that the government should direct the Sui Southern Gas Company not to issue CNG stations closure schedules during the holy month. He said that there is a shortage of public transport in the city and when the CNG stations are closed the public transport cannot be plied on the roads. “We are demanding this facility for the benefit of the people during Ramazan,” he said, adding that the provincial government should also work on its own CNG buses for the relief of the citizens.
