After the storm: Sindh CM, Owais visit Thatta coastline

Sindh CM issued directives for stepping up relief work and ensuring ample supply of food and medicines.

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and central leader of PPP Owais Muzaffar Tappi took a tour of the storm-hit coastline of Thatta on Saturday. They were briefed on the devastation caused by the recent cyclone that had inundated dozens of coastal villages.  Sindh CM and Owais Muzaffar visited Keti Bundar where they met with local people, inquired about the well-being of the storm-hit communities and took stock of the on-going relief work. Sindh CM issued directives for stepping up relief work and ensuring ample supply of food and medicines.  Owais Muzaffar said the Sindh government will not abandon the flood victims. “We are with you in this crisis,” he said while interacting with the people of Keti Bundar.
