Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Ilaihe Rajeoon. Ameen. @Parvez Amin: What do you suggest in place of hanging? A few speedy trials and public hangings / whippings will send shudders and the fear of meeting the Almighty in the population. Salams
After 06 years of PML.N rule, rape cases have increased in the Punjab.
These are all old cases. Why tribune is bunching these news in one case and then making it Monday morning head line news. They should have some conscious to do this kind of bad job.
The incidents are increasing day by day. It seems like a India Pakistan match in which both the countries are competing to increase rape figure. Females also has the right to live. The heartless demons should be brought to justice.
You are wrong buddy, these are horror shows imported from India. We never had such incidences in the past. In your country it's a routine matter, and that day when such thing doesn't occur people think they are living in utopia.@Anon:
a special unit which is as independent as the pentagon in pakistan should be created and they should be assigned to get the rapist and punish them till death publicly ... this will stop anyone even looking at women with evil let alone raping and killing them
Its interesting to note that our mullahs never raise their voice about anything that really matters like the treatment of women and minorities in our society, i suppose they are too busy trying to make it legal to for them to have child brides to care or killing free thinkers that challenge their monopoly on society.
In a country where even a murderer is set free after "reconciliation" with deceased family (happened to be murderer's own son), what punishment are we talking about?
I would never let my daughter marry a Punjabi or Pastoon.
@symonds:
These horrors were always there in Pakistan, but the fact of the matter is the people are not interested in these "horror show" neither does the media. They are busy discussing Indian weapons and Indian medicines....
This is disgusting. Such problems are on the rise. The PML-N Punjab govt is quiet on this and not doing anything. We do not need laptops or fancy bus services. We need to provide a safe environment for our women.
The most effective punishment for these animals is the one prescribed in Islam, make them an example and others will think thrice before committing such crimes.
Too many rapists in Punjab. They seems to be facing psychological errors !
Time for Shahbaz Sharif to take one of his ineffective notices ...!!!
Indian horrors now in Pakistan.
The death penalty is inhumane and not the best way to deal with this issue. The solution to this is educating youth and desegregating society. In patriarchal setups men think it's their right to subjugate women. Until we remove this so called culture and religious influence, women won't get their rights.
Absence of justice or complete failure of judges to understand and pass verdict under true spirit of justice keeping social norms and sever punishment ideas are are bigger cause of such issues. I wil request Govt of Pakistan please make at least one Law university as soon as possible and try to raise the law education standard to certain extent.
An absolutely disgusting and filthy society. We take it upon ourselves to bash the politicians and leaders, but we fail to digest the facts about the society that breeds them. Take a step back and just look @ our frustrated citizens. Why would anyone feel safe...the country is becoming a zoo...I guess we deserve it. Forget education, we have no character. Pathetic.
@S. Nasir Mehdi: which country are we talking about?? Oh, yea, Pakistan...not happening.
Where are all PML(N) supporters ?. Its 10th incident this year, mind it !!
What happened to us, we are animals?, even animals not behave animals like this... Where is CM, PM, IG,CJ, why nobody take responsibility, why not resign... The Pakistani women are most innocent women in the world, the have no right to live their own life Gog Bless our WOMEN
Rape cases are on increase. Have speedy trials and culprits be hanged to death. I am sure this will eradicate this menace
