HYDERABAD: A labourer was killed and three others were injured when a steel ceiling in a small wood-cutting factory collapsed near the railway station on Wednesday. The deceased labourer has been identified as 50-year-old Ashraf, a resident of Phuleli. Usman Malik, 40, Kamran Ghafoor, 35, and Abdul Wahid, 35, were injured in the incident. They were shifted to Civil hospital. According to Ghafoor, the ceiling was laden with waste material, which increased the impact of the collapse.
