SAN FRANCISCO: Video game maker Ubisoft is betting that dancing games will be all the rage this holiday season - thanks to the late Michael Jackson.

The company will bring “Michael Jackson the Experience” to stores November 23 on Nintendo’s Wii for $49.99, as well as to the Nintendo DS and Sony’s PSP for $29.99. Additional gaming platforms will follow next year.

The company is adding incentive for fans with limited-edition sequin-studded gloves like those worn by the late King of Pop. Ubisoft worked with Jackson’s estate on a special edition glove to be included with US launch-day copies of the game.

“If you get there on the first day, you will probably get a glove,” Ubisoft senior vice president of sales and marketing Tony Key said. The French videogame star also revealed more of the playlist, which includes Jackson megahits such as “Thriller” and “Rock with You”.

“We have pretty much every great dance song from Michael in this game,” said Key. “It is going to be pretty comprehensive.”
