Going back home: Sindhi film actress recovered

Her daughter, Sonam, confirmed that her mother had been recovered and she had spoken to her on the phone.

Sindhi actress Nasreen Naz, who went missing last week, was found in the katcha area of Ghouspur, Kandhkot-Kashmore on Thursday.


Naz was kidnapped on May 14 as she left Ratodero for a shooting in Shikarpur. The actress was found on Thursday morning standing at a bus stand in Ghouspur. She had been left there by unidentified motorcyclists. She was then taken to Larkana.

Her daughter, Sonam, confirmed that her mother had been recovered and she had spoken to her on the phone.

While talking to The Express Tribune, Sonam said that her mother did not sound like she was well and was stressed because of the unpleasant incident. Sonam added that she was glad her mother was heading home tonight.

Sindhi drama director Aziz Sangi said that Larkana ASP Tauqeer had helped find the abducted actress. He added that it was a horrifying incident and was glad that it was over.According to the ASP, they had received some tips about the kidnapping and carried out a raid in the area in Ghouspur.
