Revival: ‘Govt committed to increase tourism’
Tourism plays an important role in the economy, said minister.

Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada said the present government was determined, committed and serious in promoting tourism in the country. Talking to media after inaugurating the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Daman-e-koh restaurant in the Islamabad metropolitan area, he said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had issued instructions for the revival of tourism in the country. He said that tourism plays an important role in the economy. He expressed hope that, once peace is restored in the country international tourists will start coming in large numbers once again.
