‘Negligence’: Lioness dies at Bahawalpur Zoo

BAHAWALPUR: A lioness in the Bahawalpur Zoo died on Monday. A zoo caretaker said she died due to negligence on part of the Zoo administration and substandard food. The Bahawalpur Zoo curator and other officials including veterinary doctors were not available for an official comment. The caretaker said the lioness had been sick for the last few days but had not been given medical treatment.
