Retrial: Bhagat Singh FIR produced before court

A police official appearing on behalf of legal affairs DSP produced a copy of FIR of Bhagat Singh.

The police on Saturday handed over a copy of the FIR against Baghat Singh to a man hoping to plead the case for his retrial in the Lahore High Court.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Tariq Mehmood Zargham on April 11 had directed the police to give a copy of the FIR against Singh to the Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation chairman. On Saturday, a police official appearing on behalf of legal affairs DSP produced a copy of FIR of Bhagat Singh. It was handed over to the petitioner.


The petitioner wants the case against Baghat Singh reopened.

silly move and wastage of time. Pakistan has nothing to do with the case. It never existed at that time. It is somebody else's case. As usual we are meddling into someone else's affairs.
