ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that the successful auction of 3G and 4G spectrums has opened up a new world of exploration and achievement.

He added that this much delayed initiative has brought Pakistan to the cutting edge of technology, enabling it to achieve new frontiers of advancement. He added that the adoption of this technology improve service delivery and open up new opportunities for employment, business and income generation.

“My most earnest congratulation to the people who have made this possible,” he said.

The prime minister commended Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) officials for the successful execution of the auction.

The prime minister further stated that the team led by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Minister of IT Anusha Rehman made this endeavour possible in a transparent and competitive manner.

Whatever this government has done is very well now country is going in one direction. Government should now increase tax to gdp ratio to what it was in 1998-1999 with in year so that fiscal problem shall be erased. One again well done government ...
