In this smartphone era, a memory is simply a click away. Here are some photographs you can take of your child, which will not only serve as a record of their growth, but also provide you with countless memories to look back on and reminisce. The best part about these photographs is they don’t require elaborate setups or a professional! They will also help you remember the little details which are lost over time.
Grasping a finger
It’s a whole new feeling, having your baby hold onto your finger for the first time, and a perfect way to capture his or her tiny hand. This picture is a classic, yet it is overlooked by many.
Your hands, their feet
There are many variations with this photograph. A picture can be taken with the parent’s hands forming a heart around the baby’s feet, or, as with the picture given, with both parents’ hands enveloping the feet as a symbol of protection and love. An absolute must for any new born!
The father-son fist bump
This is a very unique concept, and makes for a very artistic photograph. The photo also works perfectly to show the future relationship between a father and his son. A very interesting take on father-son photography.
The pigtail
This photo is perfect for your little angel, albeit you’ll have to wait until her hair is long enough to be tied into a little pony. The photo focuses entirely on her hair, not her face or any other aspect of her body.
The yawn
There are few moments, in the first few months at least, where your child will sleep soundly, so you might as well capture it while it lasts. A yawn perfectly captures the sleepy nature of your child, not to mention it looks absolutely adorable.
Generations apart
Be it with a grandparent or an elderly relative, this photograph is absolutely stunning. The concept of life and growth, the onset of age, and most importantly the love and wisdom imparted from grandparent to grandchild, all of this is apparent in this photograph.
The crying face
Putting aside the noise and constant blubber and tears, babies actually look quite adorable while crying. Capture the moment. We’re sure you won’t miss those days, but they are a major part of parenthood and should be remembered.
