PESHAWAR: The house of former MPA, Haji Muhammad Javed, came under a grenade attack in Gulbahar on Friday evening. Police said unidentified miscreants threw a hand grenade at the former MPA’s house, which landed in the lawn and exploded, causing no loss of life or property. “This is the second attack of its kind as a similar incident took place last month,” said an official of Gulbahar police station, adding that they had also called the bomb disposal unit to inspect the site of the blast. “Javed’s family members were not at home at the time of the attack,” he added.
