Sindh Bank to be set-up

The Federal Government has given the Sindh Government permission to set up Sindh Bank.

PAKISTAN: The Federal Government on Wednesday gave the Sindh Government permission to set up Sindh Bank.

The Federal Finance Ministry and the State Bank of Pakistan also issued a no-objection-certificate to the Sindh government for this purpose.

Speaking to Express 24/7, State Bank spokesperson Syed Waseem Ahmad confirmed that the NOC had been issued. However, he added that the Sindh government would have to fulfill regulatory requirements to the get a licence for the bank.

He also added that the Sindh Bank will be registered as a company in the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

Branches of Sindh Bank will be established across the country , with its main purpose being to promote agricultural development and small scale businesses.

It’s an act of kindness for those who are educated, creative and deserving but are still jobless and unemployed in SINDH. It is a pleasere for all the sindh peoples and pakistanis. As you know very well that every province has its own bank example Punjab ( The bank of Punjab) NWFP (The bank of khyber) Balochistan (Bolan bank) our Sindh had (Mehran bank) but due to some unfortunate it was closed but now it comes by a dynamic name Sindh Bank or The bank of Sindh for that I am requesting to all the sindh peoples that this is your and our bank so please take care of it, and do strugle to improve and develop the bank and as well as sindh so that the name of our Pakistan would have been written with golden words on the map of the world. Other wise incident of Indus bank may repeat in future. Further, I suggest that for across the country branches staff should be appoint from Sindh, instead of from local vacinity. In this way a number of jobless would get job. In last I hope that all sindhies will prove that they are equally good as others are by running this Bank in a success full way.
