International commerce: Romanian envoy for more trade

The ambassador said that the time was ripe for the Sialkot exporters to take full advantages of the GSP Plus status.

SIALKOT: Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan Emilian Ion has stressed the need of making all-out efforts to boost mutual trade ties between the two countries. He stated this while addressing a meeting of exporters held at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Thursday. The ambassador said that the time was ripe for the Sialkot exporters to take full advantages of the GSP Plus status and capture the EU markets by exporting their diversified traditional and non-traditional export products.  He asked exporters to hold exhibitions for their products in Romania while enjoying the unique opportunities of promotion and marketing of products there.
