Punishment served: Six policemen reinstated

The reinstated officials were suspended by the DPO two months earlier over corruption charges.

DI KHAN: DPO Nisar Ali Marwat reinstated six police officials on Monday following completion of their terms of punishment. The reinstated officials include ASI Gul Khan, Hawaldar Hayatullah, Allah Nawaz, Ismail Khan, Ziaur Rehman and Iqtidar Shah. They were suspended by the DPO two months earlier over corruption charges. The suspension of ASIs Muhammad Ashraf and Syed Marjan, hawaldars Qaiser Jahan, Muhammad Nawaz and Tariq Jamshaid, and Constable Aslam is still intact as a decision has not yet been taken in their case.
