Did you know? : Mehreen Syed — first blog, now baby

The year 2014 is already looking productive (pun intended) for supermodel and spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris Pakistan, Mehreen Syed. Shortly following the launch of her blog on desi beauty, the diva has revealed that she is with child. “Aik good news hai, bata deti hoon [There’s a good news, let me tell you]. I’m expecting my first child,” she said, according to the Times of India.

Mehreen, who was supposed to make her Bollywood debut in film-maker Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan’s movie Lahore, postponed the project and got hitched to businessman Ahmed Sheikh last year. Of her alleged shift to London, she said, “I won’t shift to London permanently. It’ll be a temporary shift. I’ll be there till my delivery. The good news is on its way, hopefully by the month of March.”

On the question of if she will get back to modelling, post-pregnancy, she shared, “Dekhte hain, abhi kuch socha nahi hai [Let’s see, I haven’t thought about it as yet]. I haven’t given up modelling. I have been staying indoors most of the time, but am working from home. My beauty blog site has kept me busy these days.”

Mehreen may be occupied with her blog and soon with her baby, but we take a moment to wish her the very best!
