Revenge: Man kills two of a family, injures one

A man shoots his brother-in law, wife and daughter, residents of Tiba Balochan near Rahim Yar Khan.

BAHAWALPUR: A man shot his brother-in law, wife and daughter, residents of Tiba Balochan near Rahim Yar Khan, on Sunday night. The woman and her daughter succumbed to their injuries. Police told media on Monday that Nawab’s sister Sabaari Mai had married their first cousin Mansha a few years ago. Soon afterwards, Mansha married another woman, Sakeena, without his first wife’s consent. Police said that Sakeena and Sabaari Mai apparently did not get along and would often have domestic arguments. On Sunday night, Nawab went to Mansha’s house and shot Mansha, Sakeena and their daughter Razia. Sakeena died on the spot while Mansha and Razia were taken to Shaikh Zayed Hospital where Razia succumbed to her injuries. Doctors said Mansha was in a critical condition. Nawab later went to the police and confessed to the murders and handed over the murder weapon. The bodies have been handed over to the family after an autopsy.
