Robbery: Armed men take away Rs10m

Police says they robbed Nadeem, a resident of Jaranwala Road, at gunpoint and fired in the air when he resisted.

FAISALABAD: Armed men on Friday took away Rs10 million from a person at Susan Road in Faisalabad. Police said Nadeem, a resident of Jaranwala Road, was on his way home after he had sold his prize bonds worth Rs10 million when four men on motorcycles stopped him. They robbed Nadeem at gunpoint and fired in the air when he resisted, police said. Police said the traders in the area closed their shops after the gunshots. The Madina Town station house officer (SHO) said a police team had been formed to arrest the men.
