Lt Gen. Nasser Khan Janjua, Commander Southern Command received the COAS on his arrival, said an ISPR press release. Later, the COAS visited the headquarters of Southern Command, where he was given detailed briefing on prevalent situation in Balochistan. Progress on the ongoing earthquake relief work in district Awaran was also discussed.
The COAS was also briefed about various development and education projects being undertaken by the Army.
