Imran was speaking at a function in Peshawar to honour Disabled Persons Day.
He also said on Twitter:
Am going to function in Peshawar to mark Disabled Persons Day. We must facilitate mainstreaming of all our people in public/private sectors.

There are 80,000 persons with disabilities in K-P, Imran said in his speech.
He revealed that a foundation has been made to help people with disabilities, which will provide assistance to 26,000 people in the first year, 40,000 in the second year and the rest of the 80,000 in the third year.
“We will be an example for the rest of the provinces and bring the tsunami to them as well,” the chairman stated.
He also said that they will bring change to K-P every month, adding that the change has been slow in the past.

Pak federal and provincial govts could also take pro-active and preventative measures by avoiding future disabilities by making it a priority to help out and protect the polio teams from extremist militant attacks and complete their mandate in vaccinating all children, saving some from being crippled in the future. Also along with just curbing drone attacks, make it also a priority to curb the numerous terrorist attacks as well, which seems to be ignored, by disarming, arresting and deprogramming ideological extremists rather than excusing them and letting them flourish, which costs not just lives, but limbs and other body parts, adding to the list of disabled persons.
Dr.M.M.Khan, i was also having same question in my mind but Sir Imran Khan thinks different he said once you can serve only few hundreds through charity while through government you can serve masses.
@legend: It is still better than than entire Sharif or Bhutto family ruling the nation as if they are the kings of Pakistan. They are a disgrace in the name of democracy. They did eliminate TOP level corruption within the first 3 months of government. They are reforming the thana culture (see story on CCTV in thanas) They are providing FREE emergency medical services. So if you want to give some good constructive criticism more power to you, but if you want to just come here because this is a story about Imran khan and want to bash it for the sake of bashing him, because you have some personal issues than please grow up. Imran the noble man he is would have had no difficulty in raising the funds for the disabled without going into the politics clean or dirty mostly the latter! After all he built a huge well run hospital raised on charity. I hope i have my point clear.

The key word here is "will". They "will" end corruption in 90 days. They "will" reform the Thana culture. They "will" do this and they "will" do that. Only thing they "have" done is fill senate and reserved seats with their families and friends.

I wish Imran had stuck to his charity work and not dirty politics. Perhaps he would have been the first Pakistani to win the nobel peace prize! His lattest work is laudable.

No cosmetics do some real job.Build infrastructure and industry so that people in KP get jobs and take care of themselves.Diabetes is a chronic disease and no government can afford to treat whole public free of cost for whole life.Stop dharnas and serve people who have trusted you IK.
Why is it that any good news regarding PTI is hidden below in the KP section while anything bad is top of the page?
