An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has handed down life imprisonment to four persons including a woman after finding them guilty in a kidnapping for ransom case.


ATC judge Chaudhry Habibur Rehman, after hearing arguments of the prosecution ordered that the moveable and immoveable property of all the four convicts should also be confiscated as they pleaded guilty of kidnapping Fayaz and Javed Iqbal for ransom in the jurisdiction of the Jehlum Saddar police.


The convicts were also sentenced to an additional five years for having absconded.
