ATTOCK: An unidentified man wearing a burqa threw acid at a woman before escaping. Police said that they were trying to arrest the suspect. Sources said that Irum Bibi, 22, a resident of village Jatial, was sitting at her residence when an unidentified man wearing a burqa entered her house and threw acid over her face and fled. The victim, was rushed to Hazro Tehsil Headquarters Hospital with serious burns. Doctors at the hospital then referred her to the burn unit of the POF Wah, where her condition was still listed as critical. The police have registered a case and investigation is underway.
