Hair
Old is gold and we love a vintage touch to an uber-trendy ensemble. The beautiful retro waves really make her stand out. For a hairdo like hers, part some hair to the side and blow-dry your hair. Now curl your hair from right above your ear using a curling iron. Spray some hairspray to hold it together. After a couple of minutes, comb each curled strand so it opens into waves.
Make-up
Dark lips and intense eyes complete her Marilyn Monroe-inspired look. For clearer skin, apply MAC’s mineralise foundation. Line your eyes using Clinique’s Quickliner for intense eyes (Rs800) and use Maybelline’s Colossal Volume Mascara (Rs800) to enhance those lashes. For those luscious lips, try out Maybelline’s Colour Sensational lipstick in Ruby Star shade (Rs1,500).
Outfit
The fashionable mutant from Krrish 3 wore a trendy leather dress in an electric blue shade by Indian designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. While it’s just a simple shift dress, the colour and the detailing are attention grabbers. For something similar, head out to Debenhams (Rs7,000) or Mango (Rs6,500).
Accessories & shoes
It’s disappointing that Kangana did not wear any accessories. We agree that the dress in itself is a show stealer but she could have worn a bracelet or two and maybe a nice pair of diamond studs. She plays it safe by wearing a pair of nude pumps that can be easily found at places like Charles and Keith (Rs5,000) and Next (Rs3,500).
