FAISALABAD:

Secretary Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Rabia Javeri Agha in a meeting held at Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) on Wednesday said that TDAP will sign a MoU with FCCI to promote exports.

She said that the MoU will promote export of traditional and non-traditional items from the local to international markets. She emphasised that FCCI might identify gaps and irritants in consultation with its member industries to take benefit of EU Post-GSP Plus status where TDAP will reframe strategic policies on the subject by subsidizing the foreign trade delegations.

President FCCI Suhail Bin Rashid said that the exports of the country needed to be diversified with traditional exports to non-traditional markets and vice versa. He emphasised on providing uninterrupted supply of gas and electricity to increase the share of value added textile products and produce trade surplus to take benefit of the EU Post-GSP regime.
