UAE Project to Assist Pakistan (PAP) has announced the start of 21 new development projects at a cost of $184.2m

ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Project to Assist Pakistan (PAP) has announced the start of 21 new development projects at a cost of $184.2 million, in implementation of the directives of the President PAP, Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to support the people of Pakistan and contribute towards the development of cities and outlying regions. Director PAP, Abdullah Khalifa Al Ghafli informed that the projects included the construction of new road linkage between different regions, opening of a major hospital in the capital city of Islamabad and the implementation of modern educational projects. He said that the establishment of water treatment and purification plants to provide safe drinking water was also amongst the highlights of the project.
