DUBAI: Fourteen Iranian border guards were killed and five wounded in clashes with "armed bandits" on the border with Pakistan overnight, Iran's state news agency reported.

The report gave no more details on the identity of the people who fought with the border guards.

"In armed clashes that occurred overnight between border agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran and armed bandits on the borders of the city of Saravan, Balochistan, 14 border guards were martyred," the IRNA news agency quoted an unnamed official as saying.

Its obvious that this Country can simply not live with any of its neighbours, problems on the eastern , western and northern borders, perhaps it would have been better if this Nation was located in the middle of the Indian Ocean, but I suppose they would start fighting with the poor fishes then !
