Zardari said that the government had all the powers necessary to tackle terrorism and lent his support to Nawaz to take necessary action to bring peace.
The former president said that if an operation had not been conducted in Karachi, the law and order situation could have gotten worse.
Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah met former president Asif Ali Zardari in Larkana to discuss shuffling the Sindh Cabinet, Express News reported on Thursday.
At the meeting Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Member National Assembly (MNA) Faryal Talpur, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani and Local Government Minister Owais Muzaffar were also present.
The meeting focused on shuffling portfolios in the Sindh Cabinet. According to sources, the local body elections were also discussed at the meeting.
The topic of Bilawal's election to the National Assembly also came under discussion. The participants deliberated whether PPP MNA Ayaz Soomro should give up his place for the party's patron in chief on NA-204. If a decision is arrived at, Bilawal can contest for the seat during the by-elections for the constituency.
Owais Muzaffar was considered for the role of interior department minister. There was further deliberation on whether Agha Siraj Durrani should be handed his old ministry for local government. Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Dr Sikandar Ali Mandhro was considered as a potential candidate to replace Durrani as the Speaker of Sindh Assembly.

I appreciate Mr.Muzaffars action against water thieving.
@Parvez: "Zardari / Sharif………..both faces of the same coin. The only stupid ones are the people. . And these twos stooges have realised the level of stupidity of the people. The only wishful thinker is IK who lives in a world of reverie where he thinks he has become the president while these two are his paid servants.
@pro bono publico: ".....Father, Son, Sister, Brother … only the CM and Speaker seem outsiders — perhaps they too have blood ties somewhere." . It was easier even for monarchs to impose their own whims and wishes. Oh how I love democracy!

zardari and nawaz sharif to each other" Too Mera Chand Mein Teri Chandni.
Classic case of 'you scratch my back and I scratch yours'.

The other day i was watching a program on a local channel where the anchor and guest were discussing situation of layari after operation and killing of Aman Committee spokesman. He was saying that TAPPI has taken baba ladla in confidence who is not interested in politics who will control layari and some parts of Karachi whereas uzair balouch and other were using politics for there business would be on run. Sooner or latter they will push Tappi to interior minister and then to CM. Result sind would be the same Sind and Karachi both would bleed like its bleeding now. All these ministers don't have any stake in Pakistan they only come here for eid and holidays. We the local will always suffer in the hands of these feudal for whom Karachi is a picnic point. I am not MQM supporter but they are right Karachi and at least Hyderabad should be made septate province to govern and and administrate easily rather then bringing one feudal lord from interior who doesn't have any interest in Karachi apart from grooming and backing gangsters and thugs.
All in the family ....

Its Too Early I Guess...
If Tappi has what it takes to become a good administrator than he should be appointed as CM Sindh. Just because he is related to Zardari should not be an impediment towards such an appointment. Sindh government needs a young and energetic bloke to administer a complicated province like Sindh and a city like Karachi which is sitting on a powder keg.
As Minister for Local Bodies, Owais Muzzaffar cracked down on the illegal water hydrant mafia in Karachi and the authorities smashed multiple rings which stole water, created an artificial water scarcity crisis in the city and then sold the same water through tankers at exorbitant prices. Although this campaign is headed towards failure due to the corruption and incompetence of KWSB but Tappi's initiative in this regard is well worth a commendation.
I read Manzoor Wasan's statement: "Tappi's future is bright", seems his prediction is going to be true. (the part he failed to predict is Sindh's future is even darker than now)
Tappi for Interior Ministry? PPP really takes SindhnGovt as a joke.
The news about that Owais Muzaffar also known as "TAPPI" is going to be the Interior Minister of Sindh is not new.
This gossip which has now turned true iwas circulating in Karachi for the last 15 days, so I am not exited to read about this news.
Furthermore, let me tell to the readers of these valued columns that very soon Tappi is going to be the Senior Minister in the cabinet and then finally, Tappi will be made as Chief Minister of Sindh, as the protocol which he was enjoying prior to contesting the Provincial Assembly Election is not officially enough for him now.
The difference between other Senators, MNA's and MPA's is non of them is called as Mr. Asif Ali Zardari's brother, except Owais Muzaffar (Tappi). .
