KARACHI: Despite speculation rife on whether the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) patron in chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari would return to the country ahead of Eidul Azha and the October 19 Karsaz blast anniversary, the two touched ground in Naudero on Tuesday.
Former Preisdent Zardari and Bilawal arrived in Naudero House from Dubai on Tuesday.
According to a spokesperson for Naudero House, both the leaders will be visiting Garhi Khuda Bux after eid prayers with Sindh cabinet members. They are expected to offer prayers at the graves of Benazir Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
Prior to commemorating the October 19 blast anniversary, the two are expected to chair a high level meeting of the PPP at Naudero House on October 17 where senior leaders of the party, including senators, MNAs and MPAs from Sindh, have been invited to attend.
“The re-organisation of the party in Sindh, upcoming local government elections and law and order situation will be discussed at the meeting,” a senior party leader said of the meeting’s agenda.
Zardari had left Pakistan for Dubai just days after his tenure as president ended in September and speculation were rife about him not returning.
Bilawal has also been living outside the country, citing threats from militants. In a tweet to PTI MNA Asad Umar on October 12, Bilawal retorted to accusations of not living in Pakistan, saying that since he was not a Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan sympathiser, he could not live in Pakistan.

In another exchange with his growing list of followers on October 13, Bilawal responding to a request to visit Pakistan, albeit briefly, said that he would be making frequent visits to Pakistan till his new security chief is trained.

Sources in the party say that after the Naudero meeting, Zardari is expected to journey to Lahore and hold meeting with party stalwarts in Punjab.

I am not a PPP supporter, but him being the grandson of Zulfiqar Bhutto and the son of Benazir Bhutto still makes him a 'Bhutto'.
They say's they have threats thats why they cannot come and live in the country but they like to rule the very same country where they cannot even live. PPP has crumbled in K-P, Punjab and Baloch where after five years they will have noting to ask for votes from naive Sindhis who still believe BiBi Zinda HY.

@Karim Zahid: Please get your facts straight - President Zardari never has run away, his eleven plus years in jail are a proof of it. During those years, he was never proven guilty of any crime/corruption either. To claim the son is learning tricks from his father is such a far fetched irrational way of thinking, a very grave accusation against people you have not a clue of; I wonder when people like yourself in Pakistan will learn to use their good common sense instead of base arguments on speculation and inexactitudes.... Rather than such nonsense, why do you not read Bilawal's speeches, about his educational background, and if you can come up with constructive criticism with substance instead, well that would be a good start.

They have come to empty out their jewellery lockers and their cash safes before they hide in Dubai for another 4 years till the government changes. By that time, Bilawal would have learned all the tricks from his dad how to steal from the people, engage in fraud, corruption, back-stabbing, cheating, lying etc, and will be perfectly placed to carry the Zardari corruption legacy into the next generation.
Bilawal Zardari is busy hanging out in Dubai with the millions his father has stolen from the national kitty, so why would he come back to Pakistan. The only person left who can possibly save the Bhutto name is Fatima Bhutto and Zulfiqar Bhutto Junior. They are the true remaining Bhuttos, Bilawal is a Zardari, and the Zardari mafia's time is over.
