Students vying for admission in the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology's (SSUET) next academic year will have the opportunity to enroll in three new bachelors programmes in bioinformatics, architecture and software engineering.
The new disciplines were introduced to keep pace with what the institution's chancellor, Muhammad Adil Usman, termed as the constantly changing world of information technology and to meet the growing market demands. "Education is the new game-changer in this competitive world. We intend to open up new avenues for the youth and equip them with greater potential to cope with the emerging job market," he said.
The admissions process is on the go and the university has set November 10 as the last date for the submission of forms.
