Owais chairs meeting: Action ordered against illegal hydrants

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Governments Syed Owais Muzaffar on Friday ordered immediate shutdown of all illegal hydrants operating in Karachi. Chairing a meeting at his residence, the minister expressed his dissatisfaction at the performance of the Water Board and said his top priority was to ensure the supply of clean water to the citizens. “Action should also be taken against Water Board’s employees involved in illegal sale of water,” he said.
