Condemning the alleged recovery of Indian-made weapons from an MQM office, Altaf said that false accusations are being levelled against the party.
He also accused the Sindh government and the administration of initiating a campaign against Muhajirs in the country.
The MQM Rabita Committee also demanded that Karachi Additional IG Shahid Hayat be removed from his post “in order to save Pakistan”.
On Tuesday, Rangers raided the MQM Landhi office and seized Indian-made illegal weapons.
They also arrested an MQM activist, Syed Kazim Abbas Rizvi, along with three others for their alleged involvement in the murder of public prosecutor Naimat Ali Randhawa.
During the initial investigation, Rizvi had confessed to his involvement in the killing.

@Mahajir: yah true Altaff was responssible for mohajir killing in 1964 when they were penalized by Ayub son for voting Fatima jinnah , he was also respossible for language riots in sindh in 1972, his greatest crime is to introduce qouta system against urban sindh in jobs and educations , yes he is the reason of all woes we mohajir face today so very true.

This person is threatening the citizens of Pakistan, Pakistanis are not naive, not to understand this disguise threat. It is time that Pakistan government take this threat seriously and also lodge a protest to the British government of their citizen threatening violence in Pakistan. It is against the law in Britain and other civilized countries for their citizens to be threatening in any manner whether overtly or in disguised manner like Mr, Hussain is doing. Enough is enough from this man who says it openly that Pakistan's creation was a mistake. I say that If the Mohajir community in Sindh specially in Karachi can not understand or reject what this man is saying openly about Pakistan's existence then their loyalties to Pakistan will become suspect and the consequences which may follow could be devastating for this community, I do believe that majority of them are loyal citizens of Pakistan like any other Pakistani and don't deserve any retaliation or mistreatment from any one which includes rangers, police, intelligence agencies or the Army.
Only MQM uses these words "Muhajir" and "Urdu speaking community" for their ulterior political motives. Urdu is spoken in all parts of the country and is the national language of Pakistan. Yet people who live in other parts of country don't call themselves Urdu speaking.
Nawaz Sharif our current Prime Minister, his father Mian Muhammad Sharif migrated from India and settled in Lahore. Yet Nawaz Sharif and all the other people who migrated and settled in Punjab and other areas of the country, never call themselves Muhajir, because they are not. They are Pakistanis. We are all Pakistanis no matter which area of Pakistan we live in.
Mr Altaf HUSSAIN , now British national must explain first about $600000 found in one of his houses in London. The Scotland Yard confiscated that money. So far I have not read any step taken by him. I am still wondering when he will be behind the bar? Any MQM leader to comment about this money. Who is the owner? Why it was sitting at home instead of in the bank account?How it was earned? Any taxes paid?

I can not believe that at a time where Pakistan is going through an existential phase for it's survival, and while there is a massive separatist movement going on in Balochistan, certain elements would try to stir up anti state sentiments in urban Sindh. Do these people not realize that MQM has over 100,000 workers, who are more than trained to fight a guerilla war with sophisticated weapons? Do these people really want another separatist movement under the guise of Mohajirstan to start in Karachi, and spread to Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas? There is a massive conspiracy going on right now, and I am completely convinced that the "drama" going on in London against the MQM, is part of this conspiracy to break up Pakistan. I, as a Mohajir, will encourage the MQM and it's workers to stay united, and work for the survival of Pakistan, as we created this country, we know how to defend it.
Actions such as these may bring about a REAL Mohajir Republican Army.......

To keep record even straighter, there are less than 7% Urdu speaking (As first Language) people in Pakistan. Because descendants of original mohajirs that live in Karachi speak other languages as well, such as Gujrati and Kutchi etc.
There were estimated 7,000,000 (7 million) total refugees that migrated from India to West Pakistan. 5.5 million settled in various cities in Punjab and 1.5m went to Sindh. Ones who settled in Punjab considered themselves Mohajir only for the first generation (ones who actually migrated). Their descendants who were born in Pakistan got absorbed in local culture and do not call themselves Mohajir. I personally know families that speak Urdu, and various dialects from Haryana and Rajisthan at home with their elders but speak fluent Punjabi and consider themselves part of Punjabi culture. Descendants of mohajirs from East Punjab also now speak local variations and dialects of Punjabi, depending on where they now live. Why descendants of a lesser number that settled in Karachi and Sindh (as compared to Punjab) still insist being mohajirs.
PS MQM of Altaf is Mutahidda now, not Mohajir.

MQM and mohajir community are two different things now. Karachi urdu speaking community doesn't support MQM. Election commission on record has said ' we have failed to hold free and fair elections in Karachi'. The 85% mandate mantra used by MQM is all lies and farce. The fact of the mater is it is 85% thappa and bogus mandate. Hardly any one voted for MQM in Karachi.
