One injured in Peshawar explosion

According to the initial investigation the blast was caused by planted explosives.

PESHAWAR: A loud explosion was heard in Peshawar late on Tuesday night, Express News reported.

According to the Express News correspondent Ehtisham Khan one person was injured in the blast in Mohalla Baqir Shah area of Peshawar.

Police and Bomb disposal squad have reached the area.

Initial investigation has revealed that the blast was caused by planted explosives.

After the blast electricity supply was suspended in the area. Two houses also suffered partial damaged due to the blast.

This is the same area where a bomb had ripped through a mosque on March 10, 2013, killing at least six worshippers and injuring 27 others.
