Somali militants threaten to kill Kenya hostages

Israeli advisers are helping Kenya with strategy to end the siege that began on Saturday.

MOGADISHU: Somali group al Shabaab said hostages held by militants holed up in a Nairobi shopping mall would be killed if force was used, according to an audio statement carried by a website linked to the group.

"Israelis and Kenyan forces have tried to enter Westgate (mall) by force but they could not, the mujahideen (fighters) will kill the hostages if the enemies use force," Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rage, al Shabaab's spokesman said in clip posted on www.somalimemo.net.

Israeli advisers are helping Kenya with strategy to end the siege that began on Saturday, an Israeli security force said.

There has been sporadic bursts of gunfire and blasts from the mall.

Terrorist don't have any religion, they have only objectives and ideology to foul others. Al Shabab ( Al Qaeda Linked) organization may be providing other regional power to exploit the oil riches (unearth deposits more than 10 billion barrels) and not to forget the geo strategic location... Horn of africa!!!!!! innocent people are dying for some other powers benefit..

May be the question is not about Muslims are non Muslims.... terrorist have no religion, they only have objective. menace of this time is that like minded religious extremist are using name of Islam. Otherwise, no one is interested in bringing Sharia to Somalia from where this Al Shabab group belong. Oil reserves more than 10 Billion barrel, uranium deposits and non other than location on Horn of Africa are the reasons that AL Shabab ( Al Qaeda linked) organizations are still flourishing.
