The operation was carried out by the Punjab Police and Elite forces and took place at around 12:30pm on Mall Road.
These targeted killers reportedly originate from Karachi and had taken refuge in Murree from the targeted operations being carried out in the city.
Targeted operations in Karachi began on September 5, and since then more than 300 suspects have been arrested.
The Rangers are leading the operation which, they claim, is being conducted across the city.
Separately, the police have conducted 975 raids and arrested 1,232 criminals.

@REALIST:
it has been proved more than once that Courts are forced to release those arrested terrorists due to un-sufficient evidence and lack of proper law dating back to old British Indian law, fear by witnesses for their lives and of their family, weak and corrupt prosecution and investigating agency with zero training on modern lines...all these factors are favorable to those arrested, so how do you think Courts can convict them ? so think before leveling baseless charges against the Courts.....
Well done Punjab Police. We are anxiously awaiting news of an encounter . Courts will release them otherwise.
Send them to court. They are innocent until proven guilty.
execute them publically on mall road
All of the country's problems can be traced down to upper Punjab.
We take this opportunity to congratulate the Security Forces on their successful operation in nabbing 14 “target killers” from Karachi who have been hiding in Murree. No city deserves the kind of violence that Karachi has seen in the last few years. These criminals have been the main cause of misery for Karachiites. A stable Karachi, the main commercial center of the country, will also foster stability throughout Pakistan. It is good news for the peace starved people of this mega city that security forces are finally taking control and criminals are on the run.

For all those who're making suggestive comments to point to MQM, I'm sorry to disappoint. The target killers mentioned are Amin Buledi and other from his group. They belong to Lyari.
namaloom afraad were having a great party
@Gemini::: I agree with you but before they go to these far flung countries that you mention,in search of culprits,they should search the posh localities of every city in Pakistan.Most if not all the criminals take refuge in these wealthy areas
good job done by Punjab police and elite forces,keep it up and sweep all criminals from karachi
Good job done by Punjab Police and Elite forces. keep it up
@Ahmed:
Well said brother! As a Karachite, I am thankful to Punjab Police.
Good job Punjab Police. Now please conduct swift 'encounter'. People of Karachi will thank you.
Why you dont mention their political affiliation?
excellent job
Btw now hopefully no one will have the objections that operation is targeted towards one (Voting) community only.
only God knows ,the arrested people are really target killers or innocent
there will be many more... do not stop the search.
Good work. Kill them and dump their bodies across the border from where they were originated
Please kill them all.
Excellent..........!! Keep these 'foreign' extortionists/target killers/gangsters out of Punjab......... We do not need them......!
No need to extradite them to Karachi. Just take care of them through an "Encounter" and dump the corpses in the forests of Murree. Nature will take care of the rest.
BRAVO & ALMIGHTY ALLAH BLESS YOU ALL!
The peace loving & law abiding citizens of Karachi salute you, our LEA & Armed Forces for trying to eradicate these vices which are deep-rooted in our society!
Great job just create a list of target killers and send them to Interpol, I hope many would get caught from South Africa, Dubai and England.
Good job. Various other target killers sheltered to other places and even outside the country. Kindly traced them and killed them without approaching to Court of Law.
