Corruption: Mirpur civic agency official nabbed
MDA employees went on indefinite pen-down strike on Tuesday to protest against the arrest of their colleague.
MIRPUR:
The Accountability Bureau of Azad Jammu Kashmir has arrested a senior clerk of Mirpur Development Authority (MDA) on charges of corruption and malpractices. MDA official Shaheen Akram was nabbed on Monday for his alleged involvement in preparation of fake plot allotment files in the authority’s local housing sector. The accused has been shifted to the local police station, where investigation is underway. Meanwhile, MDA employees went on indefinite pen-down strike on Tuesday to protest against the arrest of their colleague.
