Style Icon: Actor Kareena Kapoor

She can, without a doubt, be called Bollywood royalty as she comes from a family of stars. Kareena Kapoor is the daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita as well as Karisma Kapoor’s young sister. She is known to be one of Bollywood’s most fashionable actors. Her style is emulated by both young girls and older women as she dresses in a way that appeals to both generations.

For many, Bebo is a fashion icon, and when it comes to choosing her own style gurus, the actor looks up to both her sister Karisma, and mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore. As an ode to her status as a style icon, Kareena was seen in 130 lavish dresses in her film Heroine, which cost the director a massive INR15 billion. Kareena, at the music launch of her movie Satyagraha, wore a Payal Pratap ensemble. The colourful geometric prints on the black dress, along with minimal make-up and a sleek ponytail, really stood out.

Hailed as India’s first size-zero celebrity, Kareena wows in both Eastern and Western wear. The star truly knows how to carry off both, and looks graceful at every event she attends. She has a very well defined fashion sense, readily admits to taking extra care of her style and considers herself an icon.
