Protesters in New Delhi have taken to the streets to voice their anger over the murder of five Indian troops in an ambush near the Line of Control on Monday. The protesters blame the attack on Pakistan, which has categorically denied any part in the incident and rejected the allegations at all levels.
Express News correspondent Mian Aslam reported that around 250-300 civilians surrounded the bus carrying 14 passengers at Amritsar and kept protesting for at least half an hour.
On arriving in Lahore, the bus driver was quoted as saying, "It's no big deal really. The bus was simply stopped for a little while, that's it."
However, the protest did create panic amongst some of the passengers, who were told by the driver and a security guard inside that the situation was not dangerous and that the bus had been safely locked from inside.
Ultimately, Indian security forces arrived to clear the area and let the vehicle on its way.

That says one of 2 things - either the Indian border force is so incompetent that around 20 Pakistani soldiers (according to your own army chief) went across 5 kms, killed 5 indian soldiers, then walked whistling back to Pakistan unhindered. Second explanation is that your gov't and media are so happy to find something to point a finger at Pakistan for that pretty much tomorrow, if someone in India has an upset stomach, they will blame Pakistan. And 3rd point, notice that every SINGLE time Pak and India start warming up to each other, something like this happens and we all go back to square one! This is the first time a bus from pakistan was sent back. But see the way pakistan is blaming India. Pakistan has been doing this for years. Any Indian going to pakistan is filled with fear whether he will return back safely or not. But for a pakistani who comes to India, it the safest place for him. He can live in India without any fear of anything.

As a muslim I feel very safe in India. I often read of terrorist attack in Pakistan happening everyday. This never/ rarely happens here. You even had a terrorist attack in a mosque on the day of Eid.

It is simply too easy to sabotage peace efforts between Indo-Pak. I urge the people of the two countries to be more vigilant and patient and not let state and non-state actors ruin the peace process.

As I have time and again repeated, The ones who live outside Indian territory should not count themselves as Indians. An overwhelming large number (above 95% as per the latest Consumption expenditure data) of resident Indians have far bigger priorities (roti, kapdaa, makaan to name some) than a war with Pakistan.

At last, some of the people have the sanity to object about the bus service. Basically we are crude people, we are really not patient or civilized enough to live in peace. Therefore any attempts to create peace among religion and India-pakis should be discouraged. Gandhiji was also apprehensive of freedom to India which included pakistan part also, because of the fact, he knew that Indian subcontinent people are barbarians and are just not good enough. He preached that we should become somewhat proper homo-sapiens first and then ask for freedom from British. If his methods were kinda taliban like then the british would have even freed Indian subcontinent the moment he surfaced.

The bus service needs to stop asap before another massacre like the samjhota express one takes place, where Indian terrorists killed innocent travellers and tried to blame it all on Pakistan.
The Indians who expected the most from these peace talks and looked forward to it whole heartedly,are the one's most shocked at the death of their 5 soldiers.Hence the anger,frustration and the feeling of betrayal.I apologize for my,more hot-headed countrymen.Personally,I'm not as shocked as my countrymen,because I expected an ugly incident at the loc,which always happens prior to peace talks,to derail the talks.

To all those Pakistanis who want the bus service to stop:
Please note that hardly any non-Muslim travels by this bus. Mostly those who can not afford air travel, use this service to visit their relatives on either side of the border. Stopping this bus service and the train service is not going to hurt average Indian. In fact there are large number of Indians who don't want India to have even diplomatic relations with Pakistan. There are equally large number who will go for an outright war even if that leads to nuclear one. There is no appetite for Jihadi Pakistan in India.
Only if Pakistan becomes a "Terror Free Nation" we Indians should be engaging talks with Pakistan until then Pakistan isn't a civilized nation. Like talking to Taliban is a waste of time for Pakistan government similarly Talking to Pakistan is waste of time for Indian government.
Until Pakistan isn't haven to terrorist India shouldn't engage with Pakistan. Talks can only be held in a peaceful environment, let Pakistan set right its internal problems(especially some organization who are non-state actors and act as hurdle to Indo-Pak peace) first later on we Indians can set right Pakistan's external problems/issues/concerns. The problem of Kashmir cannot be solved until Pakistan becomes a "Secular country".
If Pakistan becomes a secular country then there will be more trust and conducive environment between the two countries. we hope, with blessing of god and with god's willing and wish(Insha Allah) let Pakistan becomes a Secular country "forever" as soon as possible
