Trade bodies: Nigerians support Pak-Nigeria forum
Trade between the two countries stands at a minimal $115 million to $200 million US dollars.
ISLAMABAD:
Former President, Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan, Khalifa AO Babs, has expressed support for the Nigerian Ambassador, Dauda Danladi’s decision to establish the Pakistan Nigeria Trade Forum to meet the socio-economic needs of Pakistan and Nigeria as democratic and business environment is very conducive in both countries. He said Federal Republic of Nigeria can benefit a lot from Pakistan’s Agricultural expertise to regain agricultural glory. Trade between the two countries stands at a minimal $115 million to $200 million US dollars, said Babs, urging that we must take it to at least, $2 billion per year. Khalifa AO Babs has also urged the Yoruba Diaspora in Pakistan to join hands with Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan to achieve the United Nation’s Development Goals in Nigeria and become part of the nation’s collective efforts in building a better future for present and future generations of Nigerians.
