The information minister said that a Ministerial Committee led by former Law Minister Farooq H Naek had recommended against its publication.
Rasheed has already said that the government will probe how a copy of the report was leaked to the media. He had also denied that a copy of the report had gone missing from the prime minister's office.
Presidential nominees
The information minister said that the Prime Minister would announce the names of the presidential candidate of the PML-N and the names of the governors.
Anti terror efforts
Rasheed said that the government had improved its intelligence coordination that will lead to a success in anti-terrorism efforts.
He pointed out that a terrorist gang caught in Karachi which is a major success.
Rashid said that the prime minister had already started taking briefings from concerned agencies about Pakistan’s national security strategy.

Now that we have more than a few isolated people with sense of duty and conscience in the right places, we are not worried about getting information about this, that or the other report. What interests us most now Mr Minister is action, sir, action! ('Information' is intentionally excluded from your title, sir!), won't you tell us no won't you inform us when would you start acting on the recommendations made in such reports?
Now that the whole world knows about it, well release the report properly and with dignity.
Its too late to release the Abbottabad Commison Report but ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Surely there are other unleaked reports that may be released...eg the one on Shahzad....
why this drama now,when the report has been already out for a while now?
Its rather late, Sir ! The cat's already out of the bag here ! The Global Community have already had opportunity to not read but absorb the a rather a Lame Report prepared not for real findings but for posterity ! Rest assure the World is not stupid, and now have another issue as to Pakistan's actual commitment to anything it says, as it simply can not be taken on face value ! As this Nation simply does not like facing the facts, hence no face value ! Save this report for Local Consumption, as the rest of the world already know the facts.
