Suspending traffic: Three injured in firing at protesters

The assailant was arrested.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Three people, including a child, were injured on Monday in firing at a group of protesters. The assailant was arrested. The injured were taken to DHQ hospital, where one of them was said to be in critical condition. B-Division police said some residents of Tausna Road were protesting against unscheduled loadshedding in their area. They had blocked the road and were not letting people through. One of the commuters, Adnan Mastoi, got into an argument with some of the protesters and starting firing, injuring two men and a child. He was arrested on the spot.
